The management and administration of chambers is overseen by our Clerk, Paul Walker. He is supported by an administrative team that handles all incoming calls and manages reception.
With over 20 years’ clerking experience, Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience in working with barristers and their clients. As the main point of contact, Paul can promptly identify and appraise a barristers’ suitability and availability for the brief at hand and is highly skilled in liaising with both solicitors in law firms and in-house legal counsel. He furnishes important information about our barristers, including their availability, fees, technical expertise and experience.
Given that an integral part of Paul’s role is focused on developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, Paul encourages solicitors (in law firms or where barristers are briefed directly by in-house counsel) to discuss their particular needs, requirements and preferences so that he can work to ensure that these are met.
